  1. Just wanted to thank you for the tickets, the seats were GREAT! And if by any chance you can not attend the Feb 22 game vs the Avs i would LOVE to buy those tickets. We will be buying tickets no matter what, i would just love to have great seats for the game.
  2. i am interested in the 1/6 NJ game .....right in time for my fiance's birthday
  3. i'm pretty sure we had our first player sighting about 30 minutes ago. Chad LaRose walked right past us at Krogers on Creedmoor & Lynn Rd. We were walking out at the same time as him too and he got into a sleek black mercedes benz. took off up Lynn Rd towards Ray Rd....
  4. our tickets are section 304 and we LOVE it...dead center and we can see everything. We've sat in the lower bowl time to time and thats a nice treat but i love our 304 seats!
  5. thanks for sharing the pics and stories...i'm really hoping we can go next year!
  6. he flipped out, threw a temper tantrum....smacked his stick on the ice and net a few times....he actually broke it

  8. yea it was. Get a sense of their off ice personality too! these are the pictures from last year if anyone is interested Skate with the Canes 2007
  9. link to my pictures from today. i only took about half of what i did last year i dont think you need a log-in to see them Skate with the 'Canes
  10. had a great time this year. Was in the green goalie group. i thought last year was more relaxed though. I was also in green goalie group last year and was first on the ice last year too, and last year they let us down about 15 minutes early to get laced up and to skate before the players came out. Also we were able to take our time going through the locker room and during the photo session i was able to get Cam to sign my jersey. At the autograph session last year they allowed photographs but not this year all the guys were very nice. Bret is the nicest guy i have ever met! when we were walking through the locker room he was getting his skates on and looked up and we said hey Bret, and he said hey guys! how are you doing? then in the autograph line he was thanking everyone for coming & asked us if we were having a good time and how were we doing. Gleason kept skating around and it was hard to get his autograph but when we stopped him he shook our hand and asked our names and chatted with us. overall another great experience and we'll definitly do it again next year for the 3rd year in a row.
  11. before i saw the section # i was going to ask if this was in sec 304. thats where i sit. i was just a few rows behind you and that annoying drunk couple! that women was making my ears hurt. glad you were taking care of though!
  12. last year we had brought some things to be autographed. We used the poster they gave out and then framed it and it looks great. i also had Cam sign my jersey during the photo session when they tell you not to ask for autographs Cam was very nice about it though i was in green goalie group last year and again this year. first on the ice again! that worked out great with the extra time to lace up and get to skate on fresh ice. here is the best pic i can find of my poster signed and framed
  13. we were there too. 5th year in a row. we always sit on the floor in floor 1,2 or 3. in floor 3 row 7 this time...those flames are HOT! always a great show, left with my ears ringing monitored the score of the 'canes game on the cell phone also. good thing they were playing a loud song when i saw the final score cause i know i let out a loud " *edited for language*
  14. everything i have ordered from nhlshop in the past and for christmas this year has arrived in time and i havent had any problems with.
  15. easy for me....my boyfriend thinks its the car but i disagree my player story...well coach. this summer we went to a Durham Bulls game and went down to our seats but people were in them...they were in ours cause the people across the aisle were in their seats. turned out it was coach Lavi & his family. as he got up to move we said a quiet hello and he said hello back cause i'm pretty sure he could tell we knew who he was....since my boyfriend was wearing a Hurricanes cap
  16. it never takes us more then 10 minutes to get out on the Edwards Mill. We just know to park in the back row right next to an exit and we dont leave the arena until after they announce the 3 stars, then walk to the back of the lot and we are out and home in less then 20 minutes from when the game ended.
  17. i just got my tix in the mail and we are also Green Goalie Group! We were Green Goalie Group last year too and we were the first group on the ice which was wonderful! fresh ice and a lot more time to enjoy the ice!
  18. i just sent you an email about the Jan 10th game
  19. i went to the HOF way back in '96 or '97. I'm sure it has changed A LOT since then!! i really need to go back!!
  20. Guess its time to out myself too. I've been lurking, i have made a few posts though....here goes... I am Tammi, 24 live in Raleigh (8 minutes from the RBC Center) and i LOVE hockey, football, soccer & golf. Born and raised on Long Island NY so i started life as an Islander fan (my mom was a HUGE Islander groupie back in the early 80's when they won all those cups, hung out with the players, went to all the practices and games) so i spent a majority of my childhood at the Nassau Coliseum. Moved to Poconos PA when i was 13 and still followed hockey. When the Avalanche moved to Colorado i became a fan of them (i have family there) and when the Hurricanes moved to NC i started following them (i just had a "thing" with NC) So i knew once i graduated college we (my boyfriend of 5 years & i, who is also a HUGE 'Canes fan) knew we would be moving to Raleigh to be close to the team (plus we love the area) So here we are. We moved in May of 2006 right during the Stanley Cup run and our first visits to the RBC Center were on the Nights the 'Canes were away and they showed the games on the jumbotron. That summer we bought a 10 game mini plan and got tix for the opening night game as soon as they were avalible. We have a 10 game plan this year (we sit in 304) and also buy tix to many more games throughout the season. by my username i am sure you can guess my favorite player (i like goalies....Patrick Roy is my all time favorite player) wow i just wrote a book about me....nice to "meet" everyone here!!
  21. yes it did feel like a playoff crowd during the 3rd. i believe i stood most of the 3rd period after that first goal in the 3rd. After the 4th goal i definitly had some chills from the crowd!
