  6. If FedEx says it was delivered then it was delivered somewhere. That info should be real-time. The package did not require a signature, it was left on my doorstep. Time for you to start an investigation. (Did you verify they have the correct address?).
  7. This was in the e-mail sent from the Canes on 12/10:
  8. Tickets have not been sent yet, but the seat assignments are posted in the Account Manager. If you log in you should be able to see your location.
  9. As far as I know they have never canceled a game due to weather(last year's Hawks game was a bad as I have seen it as far as road conditions are concerned - may not have been much snow but it was icy). In the past they have offered ticket exchanges to another game for those who did not want to venture out. Keep an eye out on this site before the game for that type of an announcement.
  10. You may want to call your ticket rep unless you only wanted lower level seating. It seems to me there are extra tickets available based on the e-mail they sent: ________________________________________

  13. Don't know what this means or if it is confirmed yet but if true, it tells me Devils knew they were pushing it. Devils won't appeal Kovi ruling
  14. Don't be so sure about it. Have you read Article 26 of the CBA titled NO CIRCUMVENTION? There are three pages that go one about how no team can purposely construct a contract that circumvents the salary cap and this one clearly does. Yes there are other contracts that are long and drop off at the end that also appear to be circumventing but not to this degree and that is the difference. None of them are paying the player minimum salary for that many years. What the NHL is doing is drawing a line. It will be interesting to see what an arbitrator does but I think there is a chance the rejection will stand. That whole Article 26 gives the NHL the discretion to do what they are doing now. However since they allowed other contracts that are structured similarly, if they restructured this one with a few less years with similar money the last few years at the same rate as the other contracts for the same number of years at the low pay rate, they will have to accept it because a precedence has been set. Ichigo - DiPietro's contract is 15 years at a flat 4.5 million a year - the cap hit is 4.5. That is not circumventing the cap. This issue here is not length of the contract it is the structure. This link provides a breakdown of the longest NHL contracts: NHL Contracts. The contract that comes closest is Hossa's which is $750K for the last TWO years. That is a big difference on cap effect when you compare it to $550 for 5 years. None of those other contracts are this blatant. Knock off the last few years of this one and it then becomes similar to the others and the cap hit goes up to a more reasonable amount when compared to actual salary paid in the highest years.
  15. I know exactly where those seats are - a friend of mine had them and gave them up 2 years ago and I noticed they remained available ever since. I sat there with him there for many games and they are, in my opinion, one of the best locations on the LL, you can see everything. There really are no blind spots and you will see a lot of hard hits in front of your nose. Opposing teams goalies sit right next to those seats so you may have the opportunity to have a few conversations. A nice benefit of having those seats is you can go anywhere in the arena. You can go up to the club level bar to drink and down behind the Canes bench for warm-ups. (you can't do that with those seats in row J 124. Anyone with seats in 1st or 2nd row can go anywhere, except for the Champions Club.
