  1. I think he should be alright considering his size. There are others in the league about that size.BTW. I love the links in your signature. fond memories.
  2. where is this store located in Cary? not from area.
  3. Geat point. I am sure that JR is just as shocked as most of the fans that this team is not producing. I know i for one was excited about the signings during the off season. It is the team and coaching that needs to be fixed and that is something that he should work on.
  4. Maybe we should try the Reset Button.
  5. Getting lower level seats for the Leafs game. I am lucky. Should end the slump.
  6. pressed it so many times not sure if it still works
  7. [quote name='CarolinaGirl77 wrote: caniac-97'] What to do about Leighton? Well, for the moment we should congratulate him and his wife on the birth of their daughter in the wee hours of this morning Congrats on the little one Leights!
  8. [quote name='caniac-97 wrote: Evenstrength18 wrote: caniac-97']agreed but I saw this exact same "song and dance" in '02 and'03!! The results were finishing dead last and losing the draft pick lotto!! It all begins with the coach, you can't fire an entire team! I didn't mean fire the whole team. But I can't see the answer to all our problems being solved by rushing off and firing the coach. I could be wrong though. yep, but in the scheme of things you really can't dump the entire team you have. May be able to get away with trading a player here or a player there which is why hockey teams seem to frequently change coaches. But before you do that you have to look at who is out there to replace him. I really don't think Francis is ready or will be any time soon. Still haven't figured out how McCarthy has dodged the bullet. Bottom line is we need a major shakeup and given that trading Staal/Cam is out of the question then it means either someone like Brindy or look at the coaching staff. Maybe they need to pass around whatever dancing granny is drinking, she seems to have more energy then the boys do. LOL!! I could see her as the teams new Captin. Someone get her some pads, skates and a stick.
  9. [quote name='caniac-97 wrote: Evenstrength18 wrote: caniac-97']you are giving Mo way to much credit for last season. We had a good team, one that could score in bunches so all he did was add a few defensive tweaks. This season it is "Back to the Mo" which as history dictates gets us what we see here!! Right, I am not trying to say that it was all about Mo last season. I think that he definitely helped getting the team turned around. But I cannot just blame him for the way the team is playing right now. It is a team effort and the team is just not clicking. agreed but I saw this exact same "song and dance" in '02 and'03!! I don't think Mo needs to be fired, I don't think you sit our whole team and pull up the Rats, and I certainly don't think that playing Leights every other game is the answer. We have a solid defensive core (when Gleason comes back), we have a solid starting goalie, we have a couple of great offensemen. We need to build upon that with more offensive support, and that will require inspirational, scoring, checking, and pugilistic leadership. I agree. Keep in mind that Mo helped turn this team around last season and they made a great run and the end of the season. They don't need to pull up Rats all at once but throwing a couple into the mix every now and again could help with adding speed and youth to the team. As for Leights, they do not have to play him every other game but they do need to let him get some time in net. Riding the pine is not going to help him if we need a back up goalie if Cam gets injured or needs a break (like he does now). Hopefully getting Cole, Ruutu and Gleason back will help. I know the season is still early but waiting too long to start to fix the problem could hurt in the long run. Until then GO CANES!!! I will still watch, listen and go to the games (that i can afford to go to). We all just want to see our boys win and I don't think anyone really wants to jump ship. you are giving Mo way to much credit for last season. 12. The cover has been removed and button has been pressed.
  13. Start Leights against the Flyers. Show him that we do have confidence in him. Heck, they are probably going to beat us anyway.
  14. I just worry that if Cam was to get injured (fingers crossed that it does not happen) that we would put a goalie in net that has only had 29 mins so far this season.
  15. I strongly agree with all of you on this post. Cam is a great goalie but even he needs breaks from time to time. If MO is not going to use him then let him go somewhere else where he can actually play.
