What do you fans think of him?

He plays for St Louis so I hate him (come on wxray, back me up on this one)

Seriously the kid is fantastic. Given we were blessed with facing Allen, I’ll say a couple nice things about his well deserved attention despite wearing a Blue Note.

  2. Just watched the Sabres blow a 3-1 lead in less than 4 minutes at the end of the 2nd period and lose to the Oilers 4-3.  The bickering and disgust from Sabre-land on Twitter is understandable and beyond belief. Sounds very similar to Caniac Nation last few years. No doubt Skinner is in the twilight zone of despair 😩 right now.

  3. Got the emails too. Nothing new for me. I will continue to attend all Canes games played in Washington DC and surrounding areas.  When "Beam me up Scotty" portals become a real thing, I'll commit to more home games. :)

Well we are not the only team that can lay a steaming pile when playing against bottom feeders. Good to know. Don’t cere who wins but here’s hoping for OT and a 12 round shootout.

Went to a SO. Mission accomplished 👌🏽👍🏽

Raleigh is a nice growing city like you said but there a COLLEGE SPORTS CITY

True, the Triangle area is heavy college but one could also say that about the entire state. Rightfully so, as the first pro franchise didnt exist until the late 80's.  I love Charlotte and think it is a great sports town, but we know Raleigh can fill the arena if/when a decent product is on the ice.  We're not having this discussion back in 2006 or if the Canes weren't in a 10-year playoff drought.

We need to start the new team motto:

    #LoseForHughes

Every other team in tank mode is subscribing to the “Hughes” motto. Given our luck, we will screw that up too.  Maybe something good comes from a merciless season. Here’s to hoping 🥃

We're the lowest-paid team in the league with our highest-paid player injured once again, and our second highest-paid player sucks.  I'd say we're probably right about where one would expect, if not better.  Rod's far from perfect but i don't see how this mess can be blamed on him.  TD needs to open the checkbook.

We’re a budget team ... like a Sams Club version of a major appliance. Looks good but not quite up to par with a real machine.

  8. I think Rod is a decent coach and a good hockey guy. It’s too soon to make a judgement on him. He will make some blunders, as to be expected y a rookie coach. Those get amplified when the team isn’t doing well.  The talent on this team is lacking and that isn’t all in the coach.
