  1. Ken Thanks for the honesty. It wasn't the Caps division to win it was the Canes to lose. Period. I personally think like many others the Caps will win tonight. I really don't see how any Cane fan on this post can see this as positive and truly believe it. Even Lavi said so. It was simply a huge choke. Kudos to Staal for a great season and Samsonov for coming back from the dead. Cheers.
  2. Didn't say they would plummet below the Panthers...just to the bottom of the conference and possibly out of the playoffs. "Plummit" ? http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/plummit''>http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/plummit' target="_blank">http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/plummit[/post]
  3. Do you remember when the Canes choked against the Panthers on 4/4/08 and plummeted to the bottom of the conference in a one week span. Ah memories. GO PANTHERS! GO CAPS! Enjoy 7th place and the Canadiens in the first round.
  4. Yes. It is a grand conspiracy to keep the Canes out of the playoffs. Bettman is handing Benjamins to the refs on the side. The fact is the Caps were the better team on the ice last night. Ward looked mediocre. Staal did not step up. The refs do not play the game. The players themselves need to take responsibility. The fact is the Canes will have to win the next two or go play golf next week. The Caps are confident and will be playing the same teams the Canes will have played the night before. FORE!
