Recommended Posts

There’s a direct link to the English language US ballot for the 2007 NHL All-Star game at http://www.nhl.com/asfb/app?service=direct...or&locale=en-us

or you can use http://tinyurl.com/yzu27e.

Remember to vote Brind’Amour, Cole, and Staal for Eastern conference forwards, and Ward for Eastern Conference goalie.

Vote daily through January 2, please!!

Spread the word to your friends and co-workers!

And don't forget to write in Scott Walker!

Please don't forget to vote!!!! Eric is near the top of the vote getting but Brind'Amour has only 33,xxxvotes! Come on! Our captain is of a caliber of player deserving a hell of a lot more recognition than this!

Please remember to do your voting and spread the word - thanks! I don't mean to slight any other players, but I was frankly quite shocked when I looked at today's totals while listening to the game.

btw: tried finding the game on the radio while in the car- NO LUCK. Had to get home and fire up NHL radio connection - score!

Has there been a new update on the votes yet? Just curious with all the voting I'm doing I wonder if the Canes are out of the bottom from the tally yet. I hope you guys are still voting. I'd just hate to see the Stanley Cup Champion nominees not even making the starting lineup.

i've voted numerous times..and also wrote in votes for williams and whitney and everyone else should too

Just remember that if you write in a player who is not on the selcted starter list that the write-ins will delete the starters. You can't vote for Brindy, Cole and Staal and Willie, Walker and Whitney.

I started an all-star game blog as part of a grad school class project to push for voting for the Canes candidates, and was getting about 50 hits a day. In early December I switched over to following the Rory campaign since it appeared to be the only news coverage of the game (and about 10,000% of the normal coverage for an NHL all-star game, for better or worse) and peaked last week with one day with 1,137 hits.
