Being that I'm at work, I don't have time to go in detail about everything I listen to, because I have about 4000 songs that I listen to so I like a little of everything.

Now playing is AFI though.

I'll just make a top 5 favorite bands....

1. Bad Religion (I used to be obsessed with this band! I still am, but they haven't put anything out in a couple years and I haven't listened to them as much, but I absolutely love them and their 26 years of greatness)

2. Dag Nasty (my other band that I'm obsessed with haha)

3. Minor Threat

4. Billy Bragg (I LOVE him)

5. The Pogues

I like a lot of punk in it's varying forms, from real straight forward stuff to more indie/post punk type stuff to folk/punk. It's hard to explain, I really don't like genres and their definitions. haha

I like a lot of random stuff like old blues and old folk songs and random Irish folk music.

Lately I've been listening to...

Billy Bragg

Mischief Brew

Robert Blake

Let's see...

Green Day-I happen to be a big fan of everything Green Day. I have every album from Dookie to Bullet in a Bible. Dookie is my favorite, followed by American Idiot. I don't find an issue with the change from their old school masturbation-punk to the new school f***-Bush punk.

Linkin Park-Possibly my favorite band. I prefer Hybrid Theory to Meteora because the metal is harder, but Meteora has songs like Don't Stay that I enjoy.

Fort Minor-The lone rap item on this list, Fort Minor is great because it's a bit more diverse. Yes, the base of the songs are all rap, but they reach techno, standard rock, piano music, and just about everything else. High Road is the best song on there.

The Decemberists-The best band you've never heard of (or maybe you have), they're an indie group. Go check them out!

gipper...i really enjoy your music, the only news i have (good or bad, depends on your point of view) is that the decemberists are getting bigger. I know that some people are happy when a bad gets cred, however sometimes they make worse music cause of the record company now have more of a say in production. but i've listened to them for a little while and like you said, not many heard of them, but i'm starting to hear a little bit of their stuff on the radio now. anyways just thought you would be interested

And did you know that they like hockey a lot too?

I wanna play hockey with Bad Religion! They used to sell BR hockey jerseys too, like the one Greg Hetson is wearing in the front, but I don't know if you can still buy them.

I have a feeling that will happen too. Like how we're supposed to go kidnap Chris Drury at midnight at Wegmans..and go have coffee and then hold him hostage till we get Miller and Biron.. that will happen one day too..

..and lots of other things I probably shouldn't discuss here. Lmao.

We could call our team the Bad Buffalo Canadiens or something like that haha

Haha, I should have known Gipper's favorite would have been Linkin Park

Anyway, currently playing: The Exies - Splinter. Anyone even heard of them before? I first heard them at Edgefest in Dallas a few years back. Good stuff.

Lets see, I'll just go down my library and see what catches my eye...

A Perfect Circle

The All-American Rejects

The Ataris

Bain Mattox

Blink 182

Coldplay

Counting Crows

Franz Ferdinand

The Fray

System of a Down

And that's just a small list of the things I listen to more often than others. I have 3947 songs according to iTunes at the moment and I listen to every single thing I have in there. I actually have to regularly clean out my library to keep it small enough to fit on my iPod (30gig :()

Chances are you can find at least one thing I like that you like as well. I love a little of just about all music. I just love music in general. I wake up to music, get in the car and plug in my iPod for the drive to work, get to work and put on my headphones, leave work and plug in the ipod again, then get home and typically have music playing in my room.

Okay, I think that's enough for now. See, I knew I'd end up with a huge reply to this one :P You can't make posts about music around me.

Linkin Park is in no way metal. Please don't make this mistake again, it's an insult to true hardcore bands.
