Yelle and Albny's Harrisin Reed To CO for a 6th and a center

Recommended Posts

Not real credible but just read on HF boards that he's going to Washington. Would make sense I guess since Walker and Corvo are already there.

I really don't understand why we lost our two Big Guys, Wallin and Alberts.

I liked the size, hard to get around those two.

Can some one explain the logic behind this trade?
Did Alberts wants to go?

I think the general consensus here after the Alberts trade (this is the Yelle thread wink.gif ) was a bit of confusion.  He was under contract for another year at a very reasonable cost and played well as the third pairing guy.  My only guess is that was solely to open up a roster spot for the new guys to get and get their ice time in.  Alberts was good but his role can be replaced, and probably by someone from Albany.  I would have liked to have kept him but they had to make openings somewhere.  It looks to me like JR might have his plan mapped out for the new defense and wants to see how certain players will either fit in or not.

Probably need to continue the Alberts discussion in his thread.
