asu_caniac_mike Report post Posted July 4, 2007 I'll throw in my vote of support for this movie too. I never read comic books when I was a kid (although I did play with the toys, but that didn't have much influence on wanting to see it) so I have a hard time getting into the movies ripped straight from them, but I was talked into seeing this one yesterday and I enjoyed it more than I expected. Beats the snot out of Fantastic Four, that's for sure (the first one anyway, I'm not going to bother seeing the second). Go see it.

There'll be no place to run When you're caught within the grip Of the evil Megatron. The movie has everything, romance, comedy, action, and a bit of horror. She might she might not. You know her better than I do.

caniac-97 Report post Posted July 9, 2007 Is this movie ok for 8 year olds? i would think so, only robot mutilation which was funny at times. Took my son to it (he's 22 and I am 51), we both enjoyed it. great entertainment. adults will like it as will kids.
caniacfromappstate Report post Posted July 9, 2007 Is this movie ok for 8 year olds? There are very few cuss words and the only human violence that you could really see only happens once. And its only sexually suggestive at one part at the beginning. I would have seen this at 8 and wouldn't really have an affect on me except wanting to buy everything transformers. I was more a Jem fan. lol I remember Jem, she was hawt! My 6 yr old wants to see this flick, as do I. He's seen the first three Harry Potter films and all the Star Wars films on DVD, although I did skip through the darker parts of Revenge of the Sith (youngling slaughter, Obi-wans final blow to Vader, and Vader's supsequent burning). How does the violence in Transformers compare to Harry Potter and SW??
