Florida Everblades 2018/19 Season

Helvig had a 22 save shutout last night.

 

He is 12-3-3 with a 2.26 GAA and a .920 SV%.  Two shutouts this season.

 

Blades are 14 points up from their nearest division foe.

 

Booth with Reading is 7-5-1 with a 2.79 GAA and a .900 sv %.

Nothing new for us, much akin to the 10 Year Plan the USSR use to boast about. Must be in general practice as it's been what, about 10 years since we last made the playoffs?

The Florida Everblades have cliched the South Division and are headed to the Kelly Cup Playoffs

The 2019 Kelly Cup playoffs  will begin in April

Great!!! All eyes are on the Canes still, and I'm fully engaged in the Canes winning the next two and moving on.

 

But if that doesn't happen, and the Checkers do, I could see a trip to Charlotte in my future.

 

And if that doesn't happen I could see a trip to Florida.....no, not really. 

 

But go Blades though!

Brick wall Booth: Goaltender's career night leads 'Blades to win

A magical season for the organization indeed. With Nedeljkovic coming up to us for Wed. game, how is that going to filter down to the Blades?Of course I realize that Checkers don't play again until Friday so Neds may be sent back by then? Lets just pray that's so.

Blades blanked in Eastern Conference Finals opener

Florida strikes early, falls in Game 2 to Growlers

The Everblades (8-4-1) held a 1-0 lead after the first period, but the Growlers (10-3-1) scored four times in the second en route to their second straight win to start the series.

 

The series now transitions to Newfoundland for Games 3, 4, and 5, if necessary. Game 3 is set for 5:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
