I read that there's an out clause allowing him to come back to the NHL by Dec. 1.

Saw that also Lake, together with some saying (from Edmonton so perhaps sour grapes) that he was over rated? Chicken and egg scenario, was he in fact over rated or recklessly rushed into play before ready, thus destroying his confidence? Further, is he worth another shot?

I don't know Kjun.  While I love the idea of a successful redemption project,  I don't see a spot on the Canes for him right now,  If he was cheap enough and willing to work his way back to the NHL through Charlotte I could see it, but that doesn't seem very likely.  I'm guessing he might need to show a high degree of success in the Liiga before anyone gives him a direct shot in the NHL again?

I've read speculation about coming here, but I think it's all connecting the Aho dots, both SeaBass and his coach father. Like Lake I love the idea of turning around a guy who was thought to have elite talent, and in just about any year before last year or this one, we'd have a spot. But as we debate room for Necas, it's apparent that we don't have space. And this is where the negative of this kind of seemingly low risk move comes in.

Put a guy in the lineup at the expense of a team favorite, then have that guy struggle. Not good for the team.

If the Oilers can't even find a taker from the low depth, rebuilding teams, it's hard to see a path for him here. Yes, if he'd go to Charlotte, but hard to see that happening.
