GDT: Atlanta's first misplaced team vs. Canes, 29 October 2019

Recommended Posts

Well when management changes and an accumulation of potential young stars is the new menu, there comes a night when the word potential can be removed. I love that we now have many more than a couple guys who can produce 3rd period MRAGIC. Have to say Gibbons looked a lot more more comfortable and aggressive tonight. Big plus.

Great win, great kid that Svech. Now if he'll just use the stick a little less on opposing players, we're golden.

Seriously though, talk about finding the next gear. Move over, Ovechkin.

Interesting, it's always been 'The Michigan' to me never heard of it called a lacrosse goal

And you'd think a Michigander who got to Harvard would know that. But not ours.

That is a typical Bill Peters loss. Dominated, couldnt score, and lost.

Glad it was to us after seeing it for 4 years.

But he didn’t do the usual line blender

The ice in front of the net just opened way up when he has the puck behind it. After watching highlights tonight, Goalies will be asking their coaches "how do I defend THAT...lol

Svech is pretty good...

Maybe the league will use that for their commercial. Really tired of that old Crosby goal.

Svech’s goal was #2 in ESPN’s Top 10 plays of the day.  Interestingly, it was topped only by another lacrosse style goal from the Swedish hockey league that was pretty impressive, more of a sling shot from several feet away from the net versus a tuck-in like Svetch’s.
