ecuhockeyguy-sb1 Report post Posted December 18, 2007 So, Santana is still with the Twins? Man I hope they are able to hold onto him or really get someone AMAZING from the Yanks. Santana isnt anything short of AMAZING on the mound. I am just glad my Braves got Glavine back before he retires lol

medfordcaniac7 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 Curt Shilling has too big a mouth for my take. http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/basebal...ticleid=1055035 he needs to shut up about Clemens and the streiod thing before getting all the facts. No shock here, Great player in Shill but too big a mouth IMO. Curt Schilling continues to weigh in on the recently released Mitchell Report via his 38pitches.com blog. Yesterday, the Red Sox [team stats] pitcher addressed some of the particulars of those who were named as users of performance-enhancing drugs in the report. Most notable was Schilling

Oh I am a Braves fan first and foremost, but after living just down the road from Minneapolis for 2 years, I am kinda a closet Twins fan, same as being a closet Vikings fan in football haha

caniac23 Report post Posted December 20, 2007 Young steiny hasn't learned to keep his mouth shut yeah. But, we'll see how it goes. I want Santana, but not for our pitching. I understand you have to give up to get, but this is one trade I don't want happening. Let Minny keep him, and then get 2 draft picks from the Yankees next year. And after the Tigers/Marlins deal, Theo IS going to have to give up Ellsbury and Lester/Buchholz for Santana. 6 players for 1 and a half? (Willis was extra baggage, I love him, but still)
rollinsox007 Report post Posted December 21, 2007 I love what Big Schill said about Clemens. Even though Curt's mouth has gotten him some trouble at times, I still love it. He is never afraid to say what he's thinking. Some people think it's bad, I think more need to be more like him. Also on the whole Santana thing; I think the Twins are gonna keep him. He can still yield 2 top draft picks when he signs with a new team in the offseason and I don't think the Sox will actually end up sending all those prospects away to spend 25 million per year on a guy who had a good, but not great last season. They Bruins dont meltdown like some teams that we know lately I like the Bruins now so I am okay with them being good, except the 4 games head to head for us.
