Turn Out the Liiiiiiights.....

Recommended Posts

Ain't over until someone wins 4.

as unlikely it is that Buffalo will win the next 4, we still can't get too cocky yet. Anything can happen.

Uh, that's Check...and Mate.

It would be best for the sluggies to truly mail in tomorrow night. More time to formulate a game plan vs. Sens next year...

The fourth win is the toughest, goes the cliche. I just have a feeling Game 4 is going to be a blow-out, something like 6-1. Don't know who will win though: either Ottawa finishing the series with an exclamation point or Buffalo finally deciding to show up.

If the Slugs pull a 2004 Red Sox... I'll permanently ban myself from posting here. Seriously. That's how much I know it's not going to happen.

1942 Leafs

32 years later

1975 Islanders

32 years later

2007 Sabres

;)

1975-1942= 33 years. Still got one more year to go, buddy. ;)

You mean TWO more years right?? The CANES are gonna take it again next year.!!! ;)

I don't think the Sens will sweep the series, but I just don't see any way the Sabres can take 4 in a row from Ottawa. Sure, it's possible. Just not probable. I wonder what the Vegas odds are on Buffalo coming back to win the series. Have to be astronomical.

if there is any team to rebound from a 3-0 deficit and pull off the 4 straight....it would be Buffalo. I mean, not many president trophy winners get swept.

But with that said....I want Buffalo out tonight.

Is there a statistic of how many Presidents Trophy teams were swept out of the playoffs. There must be cause they have a record for just about everything else.

Hehehehehehe! Promise? :P

If Buffalo wins Game 5 it could get tense for Ottawa. They are known for choking.

Seriously, that was part of whole thing about this series, what happens when two teams who have a rich history of choking when real games are on the line meet in a huge series. So far I guess Ottawa is choking less, but it aint over yet, they better get their *edit* in gear if they don't want to repeat their horrid playoff past, although with the record how it is now, and how it was in the regular season (yeah I know it means zip) I dont' see Buffalo beating Ottawa 4 straight times. But I didn't think the Sox would do it either in 2004
