Erik Cole

Recommended Posts

Wow. Day-to-day. You all can't (well, im sure you can actually) imagine how that just made me feel. Talk about HUGE relief. Sheesh. He had us all so scared with just remaining motionless on the ice to be safe. Great thing is, day-to-day already means that nothing was broken, fractured, torn. Maybe only a pulled muscle. That is amazing. Cole is a huge part of this team, esp their courage and tenacity, and I know everyone was watching out for that. Glad all our prayers for him were answered. Can't wait to see him back on the ice, although i wont expect it until next Wednesday vs. Philly. Would be great to see him come out on the ice with the whole RBC Center cheering as loud as could be.

Thanks for coming to our board with your well wishes, I think you may be our first Panther fan.

Thanks. But, for the record, I'm all about the Canes -- started when I was in grad school in NC.

I'm a lifelong Bruins fan who just wants to voice my relief that Erik Cole is apparently okay. I was watching the 'Canes on Versus and had serious deja vu after going through a similar situation with Patrice Bergeron only a week before. Cole is a great player and I enjoy every opportunity to watch him play.

Thank you so much we really appreciate the kind words!

I cringed when I watched that hit on Bergeron and definitely kept him and am still keeping him in my prayers as well as Aaron Ward now.

Thanks for the well wishes. We have a thread dedicated to Bergeron updates on this board and we have a couple of Bruins fans here as members here, including myself.

wow, what a relief. after his previous vertebrae injury, it's amazing that he's doing okay after that disastrous collision. what a tough guy? i'm glad that he has gotten himself into such strong physical condition to be able to endure such a hit. all of the months and months that he has spent rehabbing his neck injury definitely paid off last night. i remember hearing in an interview (i think it was during the tv broadcast of the stanley cup parade at rbc) that cole was asked if he would change his style of play - and he responded that he never would. he has proven that time and time again. there's never a dull moment when he's out on the ice. but in all seriousness, let's just hope and pray that he continues to heal and that he only returns when he is 100% ready.
