The next changes needed ...

Recommended Posts

From the "What it could have been" department (and the toot my own horn department). About this time last year, we were having the same arguments about what the Canes needed to do to get better. We were kicking around guys to trade for, bring it. I mentioned two names that could use a change of scenery that could be had for a song. The first was Sergei Samsonov, and that one came to pass a few weeks later. The second Was Michael Ryder (who was in the Montreal doghouse). I wish JR could have swung a deal for him too. Would have been worth it. He looked great against us on Saturday.

Ryder is looking great b/c that whole team looks great. Ryder wouldn't do much on this team the way we are so jekyll and hyde.
