hctimo787 Report post Posted May 17, 2009 Doc and Beninati are probably in line before Johnny, although it remains to be seen if he'll call any.
BrianPensFan Report post Posted May 17, 2009 Beninati makes me want to jump off a very tall building
hctimo787 Report post Posted May 17, 2009 He calls games well, but his change in voice tone when he announces a goal scorer's name bothers me. I mean, just imagine him, after a goal, saying "o VECH kiiiiinnnn..." and apply it to every player in the league. It's monotonous. Forslund and Doc are the cream of the crop in my book, but Beninati ain't too shabby either.
Ichigo-0 Report post Posted May 17, 2009 I think forsland will be joining chuck k on the radio if he doesn't do any of the verses work.
JLP Report post Posted May 17, 2009 I can't stand Beninati, I hear his voice and I cringe. Isn't he play-by-play like Doc though? Wouldn't they use Olczyk first? Not sure what their "first line" is, or if they will only use one team. With the stagger in games, they probably will. Hopefully they will see the light and assign Johnny to his home team, he and Olczyk would be nice.
PeteMoss Report post Posted May 17, 2009 Time to listen to Kaiton on 99.9, i just wish we could get his call in synch with the TV! I hate knowing the other team scores before seeing it!
Caniac4TrevorKidd Report post Posted May 17, 2009 I really don't think Beninati is that bad....Would you rather have Jack Edwards!
flyersgal74 Report post Posted May 18, 2009 Doc and Edzo called todays(Wings/Hawks) game, with Pierre between the benches. So who will call the other series?
