NHL's Out of Town Scoreboard

Recommended Posts

Now how the heck does this happen? Fedorov was a -1 in the Caps/Bruins game (and since 1 of the goals was a PPG for the Bruins), that means he was out for the only even strength goal, and missed all 10 of the Cap goals.

More importantly, how did Phil Kessel escape the game with a +1 rating?

After watching the highlights of the WAS/BOS game, I think that 5 out of the 10 goals scored by WAS could've been stopped by Thomas or Auld on good days...that is they could've stopped the bleeding with some good goaltending. Unfortunately for them and their team, no one for Boston came to play and that includes the goalies Thomas and Auld...just some awful goals to give up. The other 5 were unstoppable...for the most part lol.

What a goal by Soup.

Canadiens lost their first spot though. But no worries, we'll get it back.

Hope Cristobal is all right.

No worries, Habs look solid. Kinda concerned how the Western teams seem to be running all over the Eastern teams though.

Ducks are really looking scary good right now. Must be nice to let your all stars sit out half a season, rejuvenate and then come in fresh for the stretch run  .

Risky, but if it works. Samsonov's only played a little more games this year than Niedermayer. Guess we're in the same boat then ;)

Samsonov didnt win a Stanley Cup with us last season, but I get your point.

Apparently, Crosby's set to return tonight against the Lightning.

Would it be wrong to cheer for the Lightning? They're basically out of the divisional race, and I'd like to see Crosby's return ruined.

Svatos is out for the season. Friggin' wonderful. Smyth's got a concussion and some shoulder injury, but that hit was clean, so I don't have that much of a problem with it. The hit on Svatos was a cross check from behind into the boards. That's totally legal.

And Foppa's playing tonight! :D

Anyone else watching the Sabres at the Flyers?

It's looking a little shady, but a comeback is very possible, especially when there's 10:00 remaining in the first, with the score at 2-0, Buffalo.

Yep tons of time, 2-2 now.

Tallinder got injured with 4 seconds left in the first and he won't be returning tonight.

What happened to him??

In other news...the Hawks are no bueno.

He fell, a Lightning player slid into him. Pens fans are saying it was a knee-to-chest collision. They're thinking broken rib.

Yikes. Cane or no Cane, a Staal is a Staal!

And the Flyers/Sabres game is spanning out to be an all around good game of hockey. Great hustle on both ends. They're trading penalties, back to back :P

Update as per intermission report on Versus: Jordan Staal suffers a bruised rib.

Pittsburgh beats the Lightning, 2-0. Talbot with the game-winning goal, and an assist on the empty-netter.

But more importantly, Crosby got an assist. Thus, he earns the 1st star of the night.
